I had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Shoghig Kaloustian, Ph.D., Assistant Professor at Haigazian University, to the Mekhitarist Fathers’ School, in the presence of our Heads of Departments and English Coordinator.

Dr. Kaloustian presented the Apricot Tree Bilingual Book Series, written in both Armenian and English; a valuable initiative that supports language development while preserving Armenian cultural heritage.

We also discussed our school’s educational approach, the importance of multilingual learning, and the role of education in strengthening identity, values, and academic excellence.

At Mekhitarist, we remain committed to forming generations rooted in their heritage and prepared for the brighter future.

As part of our continued cooperation with the American University of Beirut (AUB), Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, I had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Carla Maliha to the Mekhitarist Fathers’ School campus.

The meeting focused on a research initiative studying students’ snack habits on campus and their daily choices at the school cafeteria, under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Carla Habib Mourad.

This collaboration aims to better understand our students’ needs and daily routines, while supporting practical, evidence-based approaches that promote awareness, balance, and wellbeing.

At Mekhitarist, education is not limited to the classroom. It is also about continuously strengthening the healthy culture we have built, while always seeking to upgrade our practices for the benefit and wellbeing of our students, parents, and wider school community.

We are grateful for this continued collaboration with AUB, and thankful to our team for their support, professionalism, and commitment to the Mekhitarist mission & vision.

ՄԵԾ ԵՂԵՌՆԻ՝ ՀԱՅՈՑ ՑԵՂԱՍՊԱՆՈՒԹԵԱՆ 111-ՐԴ ԱՄԵԱԿԻ ԱՇԱԿԵՐՏԱԿԱՆ ՈԳԵԿՈՉՈՒՄ

Ռաուտայի Մխիթարեան Վարժարանին մէջ տեղի ունեցաւ Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան 111-րդ ամեակի ոգեկոչում նախագահութեամբ՝ Մխիթարեան Միաբանութեան Միջին Արեւելքի Մեծաւոր Հայր Մեսրոպ Սիւլահեանի։

Օրուան ձեռնարկին մասնակցեցան պաշտօնական հիւրեր, որոնց շարքին՝ օրուան հովանաւոր նախկին նախարար Տէր եւ Տիկին Վրէժ Սապունճեան, Ռըմէյլի Սբ. Յարութիւն եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ Տէր Ղեւոնդ Քհնյ. Լոշխաճեան, օրուան գլխաւոր բանախօս ՀՅԴ Լիբանանի Հայ դատի մարմինի ատենապետ Տիար Վահրամ Էմմիեան, ՌԱԿ Լիբանանի Շրջանակային Վարչութեան ատենապետ Տք. Աւետիս Տագէսեան, զբօսաշրջութեան նախկին նախարար Ուատիհ Խազէն, «Զարթօնք»ի խմբագիր Պրն. Վիգէն Թոսունեան եւ Vresso Int. հաստատութեան պատասխանատուներ։

Աշակերտները ներկայացուցին ասմունք, նուագ եւ պար։

Արարողութիւնը եզրափակուեցաւ աղօթքով եւ խնկավառութեամբ, ապա Վարժարանիս ուսուցչակազմն ու աշակերտները ծաղիկներ զետեղեցին՝ իրենց յարգանքի տուրքը մատուցելով Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան մեր սուրբ նահատակներուն։

Happy Easter. Christ is risen.

Today, the Mekhitarist Volunteers Team distributed vacuum-sealed bags of bread to families in need across two different shelters, including the families of members of the Lebanese State Security and the Lebanese Army, in collaboration with CNEWA Pontifical Mission.

In times of hardship, even bread becomes a message of hope, dignity, and presence. We remain committed to serving people, protecting dignity, and working for a better Lebanon.

Our sincere thanks to our donors and to everyone who helped make this initiative possible.

TO THE CHURCH AUTHORITIES:
Some matters are too serious to be ignored, minimized, or covered by silence‼️
When dignity is wounded and responsibility is delayed, the harm extends beyond one person and touches the credibility of the whole Church and its institutions. True authority is shown through justice, responsibility, and the protection of what must never be neglected.

This is a time to serve truth and justice with sincerity and courage.

Happy Palm Sunday 🌿

Some matters are too serious to be ignored, minimized, or covered by silence‼️

The Mekhitarist Volunteers Team, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Lebanese State Security and its Director General, Major General Edgar Lawandos, shared moments of care, dignity, and hope with displaced families from South Lebanon living in shelters.

From offering haircuts to women to bringing joy to children through clothes, gifts, and acts of kindness, each gesture reflected a spirit of service, compassion, and solidarity.

Special thanks to all our volunteers for their time, dedication, and generous presence. Together, we continue to serve families in need, support one another, and work for peace in Lebanon and for the good of humanity.

Special thanks to Brigadier General Fadi Kibbeh for his support and contribution to the success of this initiative.
