The school’s leadership baton was handed over on Monday, October 12, 2026, with Deputy Principal Mr Dennis Mosota taking over as Acting Principal. Mr Mrabu Chaka assumes the role of Deputy Principal in charge of Administration, while Mr Kyalo Nicholas takes over as Deputy Principal in charge of Academics. Congratulations to the new leadership team as they take up the mantle. APPLY TO JOIN MALANGA COMMUNITY WELFARE GROUP

Malanga Community Welfare is one of the largest and most organized community welfare groups, founded by residents of Malanga and now open to residents of neighbouring sub-locations, including Matanomane, Dzikunze, Kaembeni, Langobaya, Vitengeni, Ndugumnani, Viriko, Sosobora, Kakoneni and Girimacha.

We stand together as one family, supporting one another during times of bereavement, illness and education-related challenges. Currently, the welfare is operating under the death/bereavement pillar.

💰 CONTRIBUTION

Members contribute KSh 120 when one of the committed members experiences a bereavement or other qualifying distress covered under the welfare.

📋 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Probation period: A new member will serve a 90-day or 180-day probation period before qualifying to benefit from the welfare facility, depending on the applicable conditions.

2. Default: A member who defaults on two cumulative cases will be placed on inactive status.

3. Reinstatement: To be reinstated from inactive status, a member must clear all outstanding arrears and pay a KSh 300 penalty.

4. Post-reinstatement probation: A member reinstated from inactive status will serve a further 90-day probation period before becoming eligible to benefit from the welfare services.

📌 ELIGIBILITY

All individuals below 75 years of age are eligible to join.

Membership covers:

- Principal member
- A maximum of two wives
- Children below 25 years, provided they are not married, have not given birth, and are still in school

Note: Children living with disabilities have no age limit.

📝 HOW TO JOIN

1. Visit www.malangawelfare.co.ke
2. Click on the “JOIN MALANGA” tab.
3. Fill in all the mandatory fields with the required information and submit your application.
4. You will receive a notification confirming that your application has been received.
5. Wait for the committee to review and approve your application.
6. Once your application is approved, you will receive instructions for payment of the registration fee.
7. Pay the KSh 200 registration fee through the provided Paybill and enter the required account details.
8. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive your generated membership number and a link to join the official WhatsApp group.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EXISTING MEMBERS

1. Existing members:
Members who already have valid membership numbers should NOT reapply through the online registration system.

2. Members in the old system:
Members who are still registered in the old system can only be added to the new system manually.

To be added:

- Pay KSh 200 to Paybill 4164179
- Enter your existing membership number as the account number
- Contact the welfare officials for assistance with the migration to the new system.
