Our law firm seeks to recruit a young and vibrant Advocate to join our dedicated team as an Associate based in Nairobi.

Key Responsibilities:
 Handling litigation, conveyancing and commercial matters from end to end.
 General legal practice including but not limited to legal research and legal drafting, court attendances, negotiations, correspondence.
 Preparing training material and facilitating training seminars for clients and the team.
 Working collaboratively with all members of staff in a professional and supportive manner
 Dealing with clients in a professional manner.
 Oversee fast-tracking and diligent handling of client matters.

Minimum Requirements:
 Bachelors of Law degree from a recognized University
 An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya

Desired Skills, Competencies & Attributes:
 Good grasp of substantive and procedural law
 Excellent legal research, drafting, presentation, and analytical skills
 Resilient, focused with strong work ethic and keen attention to details
 Ability to work with minimum or no supervision
 Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented and with the ability to get things done
 Excellent written and oral communication skills
 Good legal administration, planning and organizational project management skills
 Proficient in computer use (MS Office etc)
 Leadership and management skills with excellent interpersonal skills
 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
 Appreciation for continuous learning and improvement
 Experience managing a team will be an added advantage
