Regarding applications for the Certificate of Eligibility for the “Specified Skilled Worker (Category 1)” (Food Service Industry sector),

for applications accepted before April 13, 2026,

while it is planned that certificates will be issued sequentially following review and within the scope of the projected intake quota,

it has been announced that significant delays are expected before certificates are issued,

as priority will be given to processing applications for permission to change status of residence from individuals currently residing in Japan.

なお、オンライン申請（しんせい）をしたときは、在留申請（ざいりゅうしんせい）オンラインシステムにおいて、自分（じぶん）で審査（しんさ）の進（すす）み具合（ぐあい）を確認（かくにん）できます。
