The summer "obon" festival (when the ancestors come home to see how everyone is doing) is generally held August 13 to 15. On the 15th we led our ancestors back to the family grave. When I see the grave I always remember the last line in the national anthem of Japan which reads "until the moss covers all". お盆でご先祖様と再開することできましたか？１５日にお墓までにご先祖様を案内しました。お墓を見る時、必ず｢君が代｣の最後の｢苔のむすまで｣を思い出す。

Had a great Legal Services Committee meeting with FBI Super Secret Agent D K. Quite informative and generated a lot of Q and A. A new look at and appreciation of the FBI and what it does. Now at the airport for my flight back to Fukuoka and charging my phone.

Again, waiting for the plane home to Fukuoka. This trip was busy with an excellent ACCJ program by the Legal Services Commitee and other matters. また帰国の福岡行きの便を待っている。今回の出張が在日米国商工会議所の講演で忙しかった。上手くできた。
