Can you pay for a property, use it, rent it—and still not own the freehold?

Yes. That is where a leasehold interest can come in.

A long-term lease, such as 99 years, can create a valuable interest in property. Depending on the lease terms and legal requirements, that interest may potentially be occupied, rented, improved or transferred.

But a leasehold interest is not the same as owning the freehold, and a lease does not automatically solve an underlying title problem.

What happens during and after those showings can tell us a lot. What questions are prospects asking? Are the same concerns coming up repeatedly? Is the interest progressing—or stopping at the showing?

The blood still speaks. And every listing I carry, I cover in prayer. 🙏🏽🏡

As a real estate dealer and a God-fearing woman, my faith doesn't remain behind when I step out to conduct business. It goes with me.

This short film uses spiritual warfare symbolically. The darkness represents the different challenges we may encounter in real estate—some spiritual, others very practical.

In the physical property, that can include termites, mould and mildew, pest infestations, deterioration, hidden defects and other conditions requiring attention. In the transaction and business environment, there can also be discouragement, conflict, obstacles and difficult situations requiring wisdom and discernment.

But being prayerful does not mean ignoring practical problems.

I pray—and I act.

Where inspection is needed, inspect.
Where treatment is needed, treat.
Where professional expertise is required, obtain it.
And through it all, I ask God for wisdom, protection and discernment.

When someone entrusts a property to me, I take that responsibility seriously.

The blood still speaks.
And every listing I carry is covered in prayer.
