❌ Case 1 – PKR 8.7 Million (87 Lac) Bank Statement Rejected

Reason:
A high closing balance alone is never enough. The Embassy carefully reviews the source of funds. Large unexplained deposits or borrowed money can make the financial profile appear unreliable.

❌ Case 2 – PKR 5 Million (50 Lac) Bank Statement Rejected

Reason:
Weak banking history and inconsistent account activity. The last six months of transactions should reflect genuine financial activity that matches the sponsor's declared income.

❌ Case 3 – PKR 4 Million Balance Rejected

Reason:
The sponsor's tax returns, declared income, and bank transactions did not match. Any inconsistency between these documents can negatively affect the visa decision.

❌ Case 4 – Self-Sponsored Student Visa Rejection

Official Reason:
Father's bank statement was not attached.

Unclear Source of Funds:
The money transfers and deposits in the bank account lacked solid proof or justification regarding where they came from.
Low Income vs. High Expenses:
The tax returns for 2024 and 2025 showed very low income, which does not match the high costs of tuition and the €1,012.12 hostel booking in Italy.
Large Family Size:
Supporting a large family unit of 9 members on a low declared income makes it highly unlikely that the student can continuously afford expensive studies abroad.
2. Doubts About the Study Intent
Weak Study Profile:
Looking at the applicant's personal, financial, and family background, the Embassy found the Master's degree project unreliable and inconsistent.

Risk of Staying Legally/Illegally:
The applicant failed to prove strong economic or personal ties to Pakistan, leading the Embassy to believe there is no genuine intention to return home after graduation.
Students who think that simply getting tax returns made and submitting them to the embassy will be enough should be careful, as this can lead to visa refusals. Make sure your financial case is properly justified. Keep a clear money trail, proof of the source of funds, and ensure that your bank statements, income, and tax returns are consistent with each other.

دنیا کا کوئی بھی پروفیسر آپ کی CV کو پہلی نظر میں صرف 5 سے 10 سیکنڈ دیتا ہے۔ اگر انہی چند سیکنڈز میں اس کی نظر ان چیزوں پر پڑی:

1️⃣ ہر پروفیسر کے لیے سی وی کو 'ٹیلر' (Modify) کریں
اگر ایک پروفیسر Water Treatment پر کام کر رہا ہے اور دوسرا Solar Energy پر، تو دونوں کو ایک ہی سی وی کیوں؟

* ای میل بھیجنے سے پہلے پروفیسر کی Lab Website، اس کے Recent Publications، اور کرنٹ پروجیکٹس لازمی دیکھیں۔ پھر اپنی سی وی میں ان سے ملتے جلتے کی ورڈز شامل کریں۔

2️⃣ سوفٹ سکلز کم، اور 'ٹیکنیکل سکلز' زیادہ لکھیں
آج ہی اپنی سی وی سے "Communication Skills" اور "MS Office" جیسے گھسے پٹے الفاظ نکالیں اور ان کی جگہ وہ چیزیں لکھیں جو ریسرچ میں کام آتی ہیں، جیسے:

* ✔ Coding/Software: Python, PyTorch, MATLAB, ANSYS, SPSS, GIS
* ✔ Core Skills: Lab Techniques, Field Trial Experience, Statistical Analysis, Molecular/Analytical Instruments.

3️⃣ اپنے Thesis/Projects کو پروفیسر کے کام سے جوڑیں
اپنے فائنل ایئر پروجیکٹ (FYP) یا تھیسس کا صرف نام مت لکھیں۔ اس کے نیچے 2 سے 3 بلٹ پوائنٹس میں وہ Keywords استعمال کریں جو وہ پروفیسر اپنی ریسرچ پیپرز میں استعمال کرتا ہے۔ جب وہ دیکھے گا کہ آپ کا کام اس کے کام سے ملتا جلتا ہے، تو وہ فوراً سوچے گا: "یہ اسٹوڈنٹ تو پہلے ہی میری فیلڈ کو سمجھتا ہے، اسے لیب میں رکھنا فائدہ مند ہوگا!"

السلام علیکم اسٹوڈنٹس! اگر آپ بھی اس سال اٹلی جا کر پڑھنے کا خواب دیکھ رہے ہیں، تو یہ امپورٹنٹ اپڈیٹ بالکل آپ کے لیے ہے۔

اطالوی سفارتخانے (Italian Embassy Islamabad) اور BLS نے ویزا اپائنٹمنٹس کے حوالے سے ایک نیا اور بہت ہی آسان طریقہ کار متعارف کروایا ہے تاکہ اسٹوڈنٹس کو اپائنٹمنٹ بکنگ کے نظام میں کسی پریشانی کا سامنا نہ کرنا پڑے۔

📌 اب ویزا اپائنٹمنٹ کیسے ملے گی؟

اب آپ کو خود سے اپائنٹمنٹ پورٹل پر جا کر گھنٹوں انتظار کرنے یا پریشان ہونے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔

1. براہِ راست ای میل (Direct Email):** جن طلبہ کی **Universitaly Application** کامیابی سے ویلیڈیٹ (Validate) ہو چکی ہے، انہیں اب اطالوی سفارتخانے یا BLS کی طرف سے ویزا اپائنٹمنٹ کی تاریخ اور وقت کی ای میل **ڈائریکٹ** خود آئے گی۔
2. پہلے آؤ، پہلے پاؤ (First Come, First Served):** اپائنٹمنٹس بالکل میرٹ پر جاری کی جا رہی ہیں۔ یعنی جس اسٹوڈنٹ کی Universitaly کی فائنل سمری جتنی جلدی ویلیڈیٹ ہوئی تھی، اسے اتنی ہی جلدی اپائنٹمنٹ ای میل موصول ہوگی۔

📧 آپ کو اب کیا کرنا ہے؟

* اپنے ای میل ان باکس کو روزانہ باقاعدگی سے چیک کریں۔
سب سے اہم بات: روزانہ اپنا Spam اور Junk Folder بھی لازمی چیک کریں، کیونکہ بعض اوقات ضروری ای میلز وہاں چلی جاتی ہیں اور اسٹوڈنٹس سے ڈیٹ مس ہو جاتی ہے۔

یہ نیا سسٹم آپ سب کی سہولت اور ویزا پراسیس کو زیادہ شفاف اور تیز بنانے کے لیے لایا گیا ہے، اس لیے کسی افواہ پر کان دھرنے کے بجائے اپنی یونیورسٹی کی ویلیڈیشن کا انتظار کریں اور ای میلز پر نظر رکھیں۔

Securing a scholarship to Italy is a massive win, but don’t make the mistake of thinking it completely clears your visa path. The single biggest trap student visa applicants fall into is assuming a scholarship letter means they can skimp on their bank statement.
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expects international students to show proof of €10,179.85 per year—and yes, this applies to scholarship holders too.
If you want to avoid a sudden visa rejection, here is exactly why that bank statement is still a make-or-break document, and how you need to prepare it.

Scholarships Don't Pay Out on Day One: If you won a regional need-based scholarship (like DSU, EDISU, or ALISEO), that money is not sitting in an account waiting for you. You only get paid months after you arrive in Italy, register for classes, and clear administrative checks. The embassy needs to see that you won’t starve, freeze, or get stranded during your first semester.

The "Need-Based" Paradox: To get a regional scholarship, you have to prove your family doesn't make a lot of money. But to get a visa, you have to prove you can afford to live. It sounds contradictory, but a solid bank statement bridges this gap. It shows the visa officer you have the emergency liquid cash to survive the initial waiting period.

The Only Exception: If you have a prestigious, fully-funded University Merit Scholarship or an Erasmus Mundus grant that explicitly states your monthly stipend on your admission letter, the embassy might lower the bank statement threshold. Even then, presenting a dry account with zero backup funds is a massive gamble.



The Six-Month Rule: You cannot just borrow money from a relative, dump it into an account a week before your interview, and call it a day. Visa officers are smart. They look at the last 6 consecutive months of history. They want to see regular, organic transactions—not a sudden, massive injection of cash right before the appointment.

Strict Sponsor Limits: The rules have tightened significantly. The account must belong to either you or your parents. Consulates are rejecting files sponsored by distant relatives, uncles, or siblings unless there is an extraordinary, legally documented reason.

You Must Prove the Source: A bank statement means nothing without context. If your father's account shows 3 million PKR, you need to attach tax returns, business registration papers, or official salary slips to prove exactly where that money came from. Clean traceability is everything.

Before You Submit

Get It Certified: Don't just print a PDF from your online banking app. Go to the branch, get it printed on official bank letterhead, and make sure every single page is stamped and signed by the manager.

Keep It Liquid: The money needs to be in a current or savings account. Property value, gold evaluations, or fixed deposits that cannot be instantly withdrawn do not count toward your active living expenses.

Treat your bank statement as the anchor of your visa file. Your scholarship gets you into the university, but your bank statement gets you on the plane.

HEC E-Attestation Certificate
Those who have applied for the HEC Attestation through this new method, I had received the attestation certificates. So just wanted to share here, if it helps anyone in any way.

After your application status is approved on HEC Portal.

Go to the following url
https://eservices.hec.gov.pk/ #/degree-verification/main

and search with your Application ID (mentioned in HEC Portal)

You will get 2 pages E-Attestation Certificate for each document. One pdf of 2 pages for Transcript, and one pdf of 2 pages for your degree.

First page would be the e-attestation certificate, which I am attaching in this post for reference. and the in the second page it is just HEC Attested watermark on your uploaded document
