The competition is in celebration of the life and scholarship of the renowned economist and author, Ronald H. The Competition envisages an inter-disciplinary perspective to a hypothetical problem-set where the contestants attempt to present solutions beyond their respective academic disciplines. The unique format of this competition requires students to work together, engage in serious inter-disci

plinary research and display academic rigor of the highest calibre. All this augurs well for the multidisciplinary teaching and research agenda that JGU is pursuing with commitment and dedication. The final rounds of the First Jindal-ELP Coase Brief competition was held on 25th April 2014 under the aegis of the International Conference on “Trade, Investment and Corporate Governance: Law and Policy in India and China” at JGU in collaboration with the reputed law firm, Economic Laws Practice.
