The government has introduced big compliance-friendly changes while staying strict on evasion

✅ No change in income tax slabs

📅 ITR filing deadlines updated

• ITR-1 & ITR-2 → 31 July
• Non-audit businesses & trusts → 31 August

🔄 ITR revision made easier
• More flexibility to revise returns with nominal late fee
• Updated returns allowed even after reassessment (with 10% additional tax)

⚖️ Big shift in enforcement
• Minor tax evasion → penalties instead of jail
• Focus on compliance, not harassment

প্রযোজ্য আয়কর রিটার্ন ফর্ম:

বিভিন্ন ধরনের আয়ের উৎসের উপর নির্ভর করে নাগরিকদের জন্য নিম্নলিখিত আইটিআর ফর্মগুলি প্রযোজ্য হতে পারে:

ITR-1 (সহজ): বেতন, একটি বাড়ির সম্পত্তি, অন্যান্য উৎস (সুদ ইত্যাদি) থেকে আয় এবং মোট আয় ৫০ লক্ষ টাকা পর্যন্ত হলে এই ফর্ম ব্যবহার করা হয়।

ITR-2: যাদের মূলধনী লাভ (capital gains) বা একাধিক বাড়ির সম্পত্তি থেকে আয় আছে তাদের জন্য।

ITR-3: ব্যবসা বা পেশা থেকে আয় আছে এমন ব্যক্তিদের জন্য।

ITR-4 (সুগম): ধারা 44AD, 44ADA বা 44AE এর অধীনে আনুমানিক আয়ের জন্য।
