&_Commitment. A 100% visually impaired advocate, Adv. Lagnesh from Ghumarwin, District Bilaspur, visited the Mandi Office of Guleria Associates & Partners LLP today.
We had a meaningful discussion on an important matter concerning the rights of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). He expressed his keen interest in assisting our team and appearing and arguing the matter before the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh.
His courage, confidence and commitment to the cause are truly inspiring. Through his YouTube channel, “Saamarthya with Lagnesh,” he is also spreading awareness, sharing experiences and inspiring others by giving a voice to the concerns of Persons with Disabilities.

From the little girl whose hand I once hold, to seeing you today standing beside me as an Advocate and Associate at Guleria Associates & Partners LLP, this journey has been deeply emotional and special for me.
As a father, there can be no greater happiness than watching your daughter grow into a strong, independent and compassionate person. And as a lawyer, seeing you choose the same profession and now walk alongside me fills me with immense pride.
You have not merely joined a profession—you have become a part of a legacy. A legacy built over the years through hard work, dedication, integrity and commitment to the noble profession of advocacy. Now, as an Associate of our firm, you have joined this journey and become a part of carrying that legacy forward. ⚖️

अधिवक्ताओं का हित सर्वोपरि — पारदर्शिता, निष्पक्षता और जवाबदेही हमारी प्रतिबद्धता
हम Bar Council of Himachal Pradesh में पूर्ण पारदर्शिता, जवाबदेही और निष्पक्षता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध हैं।

अधिवक्ता समुदाय के हितों के विरुद्ध होने वाले भ्रष्टाचार, भाई-भतीजावाद तथा किसी भी प्रकार के पक्षपात का हम पूरी मजबूती से विरोध करते हैं। अधिवक्ताओं के अधिकारों की रक्षा, उनके कल्याण, गरिमा और सम्मान के लिए ईमानदारी एवं प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य करना हमारा संकल्प है।

हम हर परिस्थिति में अधिवक्ता समुदाय के साथ खड़े हैं और उनके हितों से जुड़े प्रत्येक उचित मुद्दे पर उनकी आवाज़ मजबूती से उठाते रहेंगे।

हमारा यह भी स्पष्ट मत है कि Bar Council of India सहित अधिवक्ताओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाली सभी संस्थाओं की कार्यप्रणाली में पारदर्शिता, जवाबदेही, निष्पक्षता और लोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया सर्वोपरि होनी चाहिए, ताकि देशभर के अधिवक्ताओं का इन संस्थाओं के प्रति विश्वास और अधिक मजबूत हो।

पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही की दिशा में हमारा यह भी स्पष्ट मत है कि Bar Council के पिछले 14 वर्षों के Financial Audit Reports को अधिवक्ता समुदाय के समक्ष सार्वजनिक किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि प्रत्येक अधिवक्ता को संस्था की वित्तीय स्थिति, आय-व्यय एवं वित्तीय प्रबंधन की जानकारी उपलब्ध हो सके। वित्तीय पारदर्शिता अधिवक्ताओं का अधिकार और संस्था की जवाबदेही का महत्वपूर्ण आधार है।

वर्तमान में Bar Council of Himachal Pradesh के नव-निर्वाचित House का पूर्ण गठन होना शेष है। दो महिला सदस्यों के co-option के उपरांत नया House पूर्ण रूप से गठित होगा। House के पूर्ण गठन के उपरांत Bar Council of India के लिए जो भी सदस्य निर्वाचित होगा, उससे हमारी यह अपेक्षा और प्रतिबद्धता रहेगी कि वह BCI की कार्यप्रणाली में भी पूर्ण पारदर्शिता, जवाबदेही और लोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए मजबूती से कार्य करे तथा हिमाचल प्रदेश के अधिवक्ताओं के हितों और उनकी आवाज़ को प्रभावी ढंग से BCI के समक्ष रखे। इस संबंध में प्रदेश के समस्त अधिवक्ता साथियों के सुझाव भी सादर आमंत्रित हैं।
