मध्य प्रदेश हाईकोर्ट ने हाल ही में इस आधार पर निवारक निरोध (Preventive Detention) के एक आदेश को रद्द कर दिया कि बंदी को हिरासत में लेने वाले प्राधिकारी के समक्ष एक प्रतिनिधित्व प्रस्तुत करने का अवसर नहीं दिया गया, जो कि भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 22(5) के तहत उसके मौलिक अधिकारों का उल्लंघन है।
