ROAD SAFETY | TRAFFIC RULES | LEGAL AWARENESS

“Your life is precious. Follow traffic rules, not just traffic signals.”
Geeta Institute of Law, in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Panipat, organised an insightful awareness workshop on “Road Safety and Traffic Rules” for the students of the Institute.

The session witnessed the valuable presence and guidance of Mr. Sanjay, District Coordinator, MDD of India; Adv. Sonia; PLV Sonia, along with ESI Karamveer, Traffic Incharge, who sensitised students about responsible road behaviour, traffic regulations, safe driving practices and the legal consequences of traffic violations.
The interaction with ESI Karamveer provided students with practical insights into traffic discipline and road safety, while the DLSA representatives enriched the session with a valuable legal-awareness perspective.

The workshop reinforced a simple yet powerful message:
Road safety is not only a rule to follow — it is a responsibility to uphold.

A meaningful initiative towards creating aware, responsible and law-abiding citizens.

⚖️ Justice Beyond Classrooms | Project Kanoon Mitra 🤝

The Legal Aid Cell, Geeta Institute of Law, successfully conducted a Legal Awareness Camp at Village Palheri, Panipat, on 21 August 2026, with the guidance and support of DLSA Panipat.

The camp focused on Free Legal Aid, Know Your Rights, Cyber Safety & Cyber Fraud Awareness, helping the community understand their legal rights and stay safe from online scams.

Because legal education matters most when it reaches beyond the classroom. ⚖️

The courtroom may be where laws are argued, but VIDHAN 2026 takes you one step behind — where laws are drafted, debated, challenged, and defended.

Organised by the BBA LL.B. 3rd Semester students of Geeta Institute of Law, VIDHAN 2026 is a Legislative Drafting & Presentation Competition designed to sharpen skills in legal research, legislative drafting, public speaking, debating, and legal defence.

This year, participants will tackle one of the most pressing challenges of our digital age — AI-generated and deepfake content — exploring the delicate balance between freedom of expression, individual rights, public order, and democratic integrity.
