People's Legal Forum Defending social justice since 2003. It was registered as a Charitable Trust under the Indian Trusts Act in Mysore.

PLF was launched in November 2003 by four young lawyers in Mysore with the objective of safeguarding the rights of communities and persons by initiating pro active interventions. During the past decade, PLF has organised workshops, seminars, public meetings, campaigns, rescue operations, and legal aid camps. This apart, it has extended support to victims of torture, domestic violence, bo***ge and

cheating. Campaign for Abolition of Death Penalty, workshops on secular values, and legal aid camps for rural women were the initial programs.
