Every opportunity to stand before the Court is not just a professional milestone—it is a responsibility to uphold justice and protect the rights of those who need it most.
In this matter, I had the privilege of representing a poor woman whose residential structure was threatened with demolition pursuant to a notice issued under Section 351 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act.
After hearing the matter, the Hon'ble Court granted protection against demolition until the next date of hearing, ensuring that no coercive action is taken while the matter remains under judicial consideration.

*Justice for a Senior Citizen: FIR Registered After Legal Intervention*

In a recent matter handled by our office, a senior citizen was subjected to serious harassment when the erstwhile owner of his residential premises allegedly forcefully entered the property and unlawfully took possession.

Despite the gravity of the allegations and repeated representations, the police authorities initially failed to register an FIR. The victim, being a senior citizen, was left in a vulnerable position and was struggling to secure timely legal protection.

Upon being approached, our office examined the facts, advised the client on the appropriate legal course of action, and pursued the matter before the concerned authorities through a structured and legally sound approach. As a result of these efforts, the police have now registered an FIR and commenced the criminal investigation.

Registration of the FIR is only the first step. Further legal proceedings are being initiated to ensure that the client's lawful possession and rights are effectively protected and restored in accordance with law.

This case serves as an important reminder that no individual, including a former owner, can resort to self-help measures or forcibly dispossess a lawful occupant. The rule of law requires that disputes be resolved through legal processes and not through force or intimidation.
