⚖️ Did You Know? | Under the new criminal law framework (BNSS), an important clarification has been made regarding police custody:

👉 The accused can be kept in police custody for up to 15 days (in parts or whole)
👉 This can be granted at any time during the initial 40 or 60 days of the detention period (depending on the nature of the case)

This provision brings more clarity to investigation timelines and strengthens procedural understanding under Section 187(3) BNSS.
