The Supreme Court of India has granted bail to Bibhav Kumar, a former aide to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in connection with the assault case involving Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. Kumar has been in custody for over 100 days, and a chargesheet has already been filed in the case.

A bench of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan has directed that Bibhav Kumar not be reinstated as a personal assistant to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal or assigned any official duties in the Chief Minister’s office. The Supreme Court also ordered that Kumar be restrained from entering the Chief Minister’s residence until all witnesses in the case have been examined.

न्यायमूर्ति हिमा कोहली ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को अलविदा कहा कामकाजी महिलाओं के अधिकारों की प्रबल रक्षक” के रूप में प्रशंसित न्यायमूर्ति हिमा कोहली ने सेवानिवृत्ति से पहले अपने अंतिम कार्य दिवस पर भारत के सुप्रीम कोर्ट को अलविदा कहा। भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (सीजेआई) धनंजय वाई. चंद्रचूड़ ने एक औपचारिक पीठ का नेतृत्व करते हुए न्यायमूर्ति. कोहली की न्याय के प्रति अटूट प्रतिबद्धता, विशेष रूप से कार्यस्थल पर महिलाओं के अधिकारों को बनाए रखने में उनके महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पर प्रकाश डाला!!

आरजी कर हॉस्पिटल केस में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सुनवाई करते हुए पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार को जमकर फटकार लगाई, कहा "हम एक और ऐसी दुःखद घटना का इंतजार नहीं कर सकते, क्योंकि ‘डॉक्टर्स की सुरक्षा करना अब सबसे जरूरी है, ये पूरे देश के डॉक्टर्स की सुरक्षा का मामला है.’
