What is NARIC Belgium?

NARIC (National Academic Recognition Information Centre) in Belgium is the official body that evaluates and recognizes foreign diplomas, degrees, and qualifications.
It helps determine whether your education from another country is equivalent to a Belgian qualification.

Types of Recognition:
1.Academic Recognition – For studying further in Belgium.
2.Professional Recognition – For regulated professions (like teacher, nurse, doctor, etc.).
3.Level Recognition – Confirms the education level (bachelor, master, etc.), without giving exact subject equivalence.

Documents Required:
1.Filled application form
2.Passport copy / ID proof
3.Original diploma/degree certificate
4.Transcript of records / mark sheets
5.Proof of curriculum (syllabus, course details if available)
6.Translations (if not in Dutch, French, German, or English) by a sworn translator
7.Proof of payment of fees

Sample Output:
After assessment, you may receive:
a.A certificate stating your qualification is equivalent to a Belgian one (e.g., Master’s degree in Biology).
b.A statement of level equivalence only (e.g., equivalent to Master’s level without subject mention).
c.Or a rejection, if the diploma doesn’t meet Belgian standards.
