Is Changing Your Car Color Illegal in India? 🚗

Repainting or wrapping your car isn't illegal, but driving it without an RTO RC update is! Under Section 52 of the Motor Vehicles Act, any vehicle color modification must be endorsed in your Registration Certificate. Army green and police shades are strictly banned.

Steps to Take:
1. Apply to RTO via Form NAMV before painting
2. Get car inspected post-repaint
3. Update RC smartcard details

CHEQUE ISSUER DIED? Recover Your Money!

Did the person who gave you a cheque pass away before payment? Section 138 NI Act criminal cases abate on death, but your money isn't lost. Under CPC Section 50, file a summary suit against legal heirs to recover funds up to the inherited estate value.

11-MONTH RENT AGREEMENT: Valid in Court? | 11 महीने का किराया समझौता: क्या यह न्यायालय में मान्य है?

Think an 11-month rent agreement is automatically invalid because it is not registered? Think again.

Under Section 17 of the Registration Act, 1908, leases for a term exceeding one year, leases from year to year, or leases reserving a yearly rent generally require compulsory registration. Section 18, however, makes registration optional for leases of immovable property for a term not exceeding one year. The Supreme Court has also recognized that an 11-month lease need not necessarily be registered merely because it is in writing.

So, if you are searching whether an 11 month rent agreement is legally valid, whether an unregistered rent agreement is valid in India, whether an 11 month lease agreement needs registration, or whether an 11 month rent agreement is admissible in court, the answer depends on the actual terms and structure of the tenancy—not simply the words "11 months." State-specific stamp-duty and tenancy laws may also affect the document.

📌 Keep a signed copy of the agreement and proof of rent payments.
📌 Check the agreement's duration, renewal clauses and rent terms carefully.
📌 Verify applicable stamp-duty and registration requirements in your State.
📌 Preserve receipts, bank records and other evidence of the tenancy.

Are FOG LIGHTS Even Legal On Your Bike Or Car?
