Honouring Constitution Day at Dawn High School’s Jashn‑e‑Hind

Dawn High School’s Jashn‑e‑Hind Constitution Day celebration brought our constitutional values to life through powerful student performances and inspiring guest participation. Hon’ble Mohammed Abdul Basith (Retd. Judge) led the event as Chief Guest, joined by Mr. Manzoor Ahmed (Social Activist & Career Advisor), Advocate Quazy Aamer Saleem, Advocate Ms. Rafeen, Advocate Mr. Abubakar Bakulka, Mr. Firasat and Mr. Baqar from 4TV, Mr. Khaja Sayeed Uddin (President & Founder, Telangana Green Cross Society), and other dignitaries, showcasing a strong partnership between the Judiciary, Bar, Media, and Civil Society.​

Students presented thought‑provoking skits on how the Constitution and Judiciary protect citizens from corruption and abuse of power, safeguard fundamental and human rights, and uphold women’s rights and equality in inheritance and property, turning Constitution Day into real civic education. Heartfelt appreciation to Chairman Mr. Qurram and the Dawn High School Teachers & team—and special thanks to 99TV for capturing and sharing the event, helping spread awareness about constitutional values and legal rights to a wider audience.​​

⚖️ When Trust Becomes a Weapon — The Law Must Intervene

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been researching cases where positions of legal or professional trust were allegedly misused — particularly situations involving false promises of marriage, emotional manipulation, or coercive control.

These incidents go beyond personal pain; they challenge the moral and ethical foundations of our profession. When someone in a position of power uses that influence to exploit another, the law must step in — not only to punish, but to restore faith in justice and human dignity.

As advocates, we carry both a privilege and a duty:
To ensure that law protects the vulnerable, not empowers the manipulative.
To uphold the principle that ethics are not optional — they define who we are.

“Justice begins where misuse of trust ends.”

Continuing my research on how Indian courts interpret consent, coercion, and professional misconduct under criminal law and Bar Council ethics.
