300,000 foreign skilled workers are needed every year as Germany continues to address workforce shortages and sustain economic growth.

🔹 Flexible Immigration Pathways for Skilled Professionals
To attract global talent, Germany is promoting multiple visa options, including:
🪪 EU Blue Card – with reduced salary thresholds for shortage occupations
🎫 Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) – a points-based visa allowing skilled professionals to enter Germany for up to 1 year to search for a job without a prior offer
💼 Other Skilled Worker Visas under the Skilled Immigration Act
🎓 More Flexibility for International Students
Germany is also strengthening opportunities for students by allowing non-EU international students to work:
• Up to 140 full days per year, or
• 280 half-days per year without additional approval.
