This woman Zia Mody thrived when only minuscule women
represented the legal profession. There was a time when a law "Legal Practitioners (Women) Act,1923." was passed just to allow women to practise in courts.

From Cornelia Sorabji - the first female Advocate in India to now in 2021, there are only 2 women judges and 17 women senior advocates at the apex court.

Slowly and steadily things are changing for better.

Women have broken the ceiling in all spheres of life and the legal profession will remain no exception.

I feel we will witness many great women lawyers in the years to come.
