Indian Institute of patent and trademark (IIPTA) was established in 2008 and is India’s leading institution which aims to enhance capacity of society to use the intellectual property (IP) system. y, innovation, applied science, trade and commerce. Focused on our goal of “IP for development”, we have adopted interdisciplinary approach to disseminate IP educational programs. Our portfolio of general and specialized courses on IP caters to different target audiences: inventors and creators, business managers and IP professionals, policy makers and government officials of IP institutions, diplomats, students and teachers of IP and the civil society. Courses are industry demand driven but use a dynamic and empirical approach to stimulate innovation and creativity. Various courses combine traditional approach of face to face interaction along with use of “IIPTA Cloud Campus” facility which provides flexibility in learning. “IIPTA Cloud Campus” provides platform for higher level of interaction and engagement. Collaborative learning takes student beyond the traditional classroom based student-teacher relationship and work for better understanding of practical implications of IP system.
