Most of these children come from underprivileged families, full of dreams, courage and determination.

At KRSA, our aim is not just to make good players. We will try to make them good human beings - disciplined, committed to their parents and to society, with love for our country.

Along with sports training, we will focus on personality development, good values, and character building.

They will soon join the many stars of KRSA who are already performing excellently and making us proud.

Please bless these young kids and support them in their journey. Jai Hind!🌹🌹🌹

The **Back Door Cut** is the golden counter to overplay defense as per Shri Ram Kumar International coach ..it’s taught as a silent communication play, not a shouting play.
What is it?
A cut made behind a defensive player. It is usually from the wing, behind the defensive player toward the baseline side, looking for the lay-up lane
It happens when the defender denies you the ball: 2 executes a backdoor cut and receives the ball from 1How to communicate it DURING the game - Shri Ram Kumar’s Golden Rules
1. Read the defender
If your defender’s chest is facing you and his hand is in the passing lane, his back is to the basket. That’s your trigger. You don’t call for it, you READ it. 2. The Fake + Eye Contact**
- Take 1 hard step TOWARD the ball — a V-Cut. Sell the fake.
- Make 1 second of eye contact with the passer. In Ram Kumar’s teams, that eye contact IS the first signal.
- Then plant your back foot and cut hard behind the defender to the basket.

**3. The Silent Signal - Hand and Code Word**
This is where most academy players fail.

- **Hand Target:** As you cut, show your low outside hand, palm open to the passer. That is the bounce-pass target. Keep it low — below the defender’s line of sight.
- **Verbal Code:** Never shout “give me the ball”. The defender will hear it. Use a pre-decided short whisper code. Y— quietly, just enough for the passer to hear.
-Passer’s cue:Passer passes NOT when you call, but when the defender turns his head to look at the ball. That half-second is the window.

As taught in fundamentals: **Call for the ball straight away by showing your hand outstretched, to then end the cut with a shot if you have the free space**
Common mistakes to correct:**
1. Cutting slow — backdoor must be explosive
2. No hand target — passer doesn’t know where to throw
3. Loud calling — alerts the defender
4. Stopping after catching — you lose the advantage.,

Fundamentals of Passing in BasketballDemonstrated by: Shri Ramkumar Ji, International Coach

The first fundamental of basketball is passing. Before every pass, two things must be checked - Passing Line and Passing Angle. If both are not clear, it is not the right pass.

1. What is Passing Line?
The imaginary straight line between the passer and the receiver.- The line must be free from any defender’s hand, leg or body.
- If a defender is cutting the line, do not force the pass. Use a fake, dribble, or change the angle.
- A clear passing line means the ball can reach without being intercepted.
2. What is Passing Angle?
The angle from which you deliver the ball.

- **Body Angle:** Keep the defender on one side and create a new angle to pass.

- Wrong angle, even with power, will always be intercepted. Right angle beats tight defence.

Both Passing Line and Passing Angle have to be clear at the same time.”**

# # # 3. When to Make a Long Pass?

Long Pass: Overhead Pass, Baseball Pass

- During a fast break when your teammate is open ahead.
- When the court is open and there is no defender in between.
- To quickly transition from defence to offence.
- **Condition:** Only when you have seen the receiver clearly and you are confident about accuracy. Never throw a blind long pass.

**1. Look Before You Pass:** Don’t look at the ball, look at the space where your receiver will be.
**2. Fake Before Pass:** A small fake up or down will disturb the defender and clear the line.
**3. Step Into The Pass:** Always step towards the receiver while passing. It gives power and direction.
**4. Communicate:** Eye contact or a small call for the ball.
**5. Follow Through:** After the pass, your hands and fingers should point towards the target.

**Common Mistake to Avoid:** Jumping in the air and then deciding to pass. Always pass with your feet on the ground.

**Final Takeaway for Players:** A good passer is not the one who passes hard, but the one who passes at the right time, with a clear line and a clear angle.
