🎉 Celebrating 28 Years of Impactful Policy Work!

On 22 August 2024, the Centre for Civil Society celebrated its 28th Foundation Day at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre with the launch of our Research Compendium "Trust-Based Governance: Decriminalisation for Development."

The event featured distinguished voices, including DR. Jivisha Joshi (DPIT, GoI), Dr Amit Chandra (CEO, CCS), Dr Gautam Chikermane (Vice President-Observer Research Foundation), Dr. Neeti Shikha (Prof.-University of West England), Dr. Renuka Sane (TrustBridge Rule of Law Foundation), and Ms. Swikruti Mohanthy (NextGen Fellow, CCS), followed by a powerful panel discussion on Decriminalisation for Development.

We also hosted our 4th Annual Lecture by Dr Praveen Chakravarthy, Chairman of PWDA Indian National Congress on "Confused Indian Liberals", and honoured street vendors, school leaders, researchers, and alumni for their outstanding contributions.

An evening of ideas, inspiration, and celebration - capped with music and dinner. Here's to building a freer, more inclusive India! 🇮🇳✨
