​With temperatures already hitting a blistering 44°C–45°C, it takes just one small spark to cause a major disaster. Today, right before the Noida Sector 37 cut (heading towards Greater Noida from Akshardham), a highly irresponsible commuter decided to throw a lit cigarette out of their vehicle instead of disposing of it properly.

​The result? The dry grass caught fire immediately, spreading smoke across the highway and requiring a fire tender to rush to the spot.

​Some people just want to enjoy their smoke, completely unbothered if it puts the entire city at risk. This isn't just foolish; it's dangerous criminal negligence. Road safety and environmental awareness aren't optional—they are a responsibility.

कानपुर की यह घटना एक चेतावनी है हर उस माता-पिता के लिए जो बच्चों पर अपनी इच्छाएं थोपते हैं। हम अक्सर कहते हैं कि 'हम जो कर रहे हैं, बच्चे के भले के लिए कर रहे हैं', लेकिन क्या हमने कभी उनसे पूछा कि उनका 'भला' किसमें है?
आज के दौर में बच्चे अकेलेपन और मानसिक दबाव से जूझ रहे हैं। उन्हें महंगे खिलौने या शानदार ट्यूशन से ज़्यादा आपके समय और आपकी सहानुभूति (Empathy) की ज़रूरत है। जब माता-पिता 'दोस्त' नहीं बन पाते, तो बच्चे बाहरी दुनिया में सहारा ढूँढते हैं या फिर अंदर ही अंदर टूट जाते हैं।
हमें समझना होगा:
अनुशासन ज़रूरी है, लेकिन आतंक नहीं।
सलाह देना सही है, लेकिन फैसले थोपना नहीं।
डांटना हक़ है, लेकिन स्वाभिमान को ठेस पहुँचाना नहीं।
अपने बच्चों के साथ ऐसा रिश्ता बनाइये कि उन्हें आपसे बात करने में डर नहीं, बल्कि सुकून महसूस हो। भविष्य संवारने की इस अंधी दौड़ में कहीं हम अपने 'जिगर के टुकड़े' को ही न खो दें।

As legal professionals, our days at Karkardooma Court are usually spent fighting for rights and seeking justice. Yesterday, I took a brief pause from the regular court proceedings to serve society in a much more direct way—by donating blood at the camp held right within the court premises.
​A big thank you to the team from Bhagwan Buddha Charitable Blood Centre for organizing this drive. We often look for grand ways to give back to the community, but sometimes, a simple, 15-minute gesture is all it takes to save a life.
​I strongly encourage my colleagues and everyone in my network to step forward and donate whenever they see a local camp. 🩸⚖️
