Canada has announced significant changes to Express Entry, effective November 3, 2026.
Here's what eligible candidates should know:
Up to 100 additional CRS points for qualifying high-wage job offers.
Up to 70 points for eligible Canadian work experience in qualifying high-wage occupations.
LMIA no longer required for qualifying job offers to meet the relevant Express Entry requirements.
The points awarded depend on the occupation's wage threshold and applicable eligibility criteria. Not every job offer qualifies.
