Interagency coordination denotes the process of fostering collaboration and communication among divergent governmental agencies and departments, unified in their pursuit of a common objective. In the context of criminal justice administration, interagency coordination connotes the imperative collaboration and cooperation among various law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, courts, and correctional institutions, among others, with the ultimate aim of bolstering the efficiency and effectiveness of the criminal justice system.
