The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India reiterates that senior advocates will not be permitted to make oral mentioning before any court from November 2, 2026.

In a circular issued on October 27, the Court said young and junior counsel should instead be encouraged to make oral mentioning.

Having severely depleted the serpent’s strength with His relentless circling, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the origin of everything, pushed down Kāliya’s raised shoulders and mounted his broad serpentine heads. Thus Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the original master of all fine arts, began to dance, His lotus feet deeply reddened by the touch of the numerous jewels upon the serpent’s heads.

निरन्तर चक्कर लगाते-लगाते सर्प के बल को बुरी तरह क्षीण करके, समस्त वस्तुओं के मूल भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण ने कालिय के उभरे हुए कंधों को नीचे दबा दिया और उसके चौड़े फनों पर चढ़ गए। इस तरह समस्त कलाओं के आदिगुरु भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण नृत्य करने लगे और सर्प के फनों पर स्थित अनेक मणियों के स्पर्श से उनके चरण गहरे लाल रंग के हो गए।

Public Interest Litigation hearing on UPI MRD levy: The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has specifically questioned the statutory source and executive scope of MDR Levy on UPI by virtue of press release dated 15.09.2026 when the Govt. Itself says that it is not fee, tax or comercial charges. Court has also asked the Union to respond to the issues raised in the PIL that whether such levy amounted to an executive expropriation or a taxable income under section 269 SU of the Income Tax Act.
The Hon'ble Supreme Court assured to examine the validity of the impugned Notification after receiving the Reply Afffidavits of the Union and other respondent Parties.
