ऐतिहासिक घटनाक्रम:
माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में पहली बार किसी मौजूदा मुख्यमंत्री ने स्वयं खड़े होकर जनता की आवाज़ रखी।
मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने अदालत को बताया कि छोटी-मोटी तकनीकी कमियों के आधार पर 1.36 करोड़ नोटिस जारी किए गए और 58 लाख नागरिकों को मृत मान लिया गया, जबकि वास्तविकता में उनमें से अनेक जीवित हैं।
