Environment Friendly Campaign - One Vote for the Environment

Dear Members,

I am Naqvee Syed Alishan (Ballot Number 16), contesting for the post of Member Executive in the upcoming elections of DHCBA 2022.

I am practicing and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi since 1998 and have DHCBA membership since 2004.

For the benefit of DHCBA members, I have identified some unique issues and pledge to focus on them. I will focus on adaption to technology, availability of MESH WiFi, dedicated rooms for virtual hearings in addition to the issues related to filings/defects, parking and canteen space.

Going by my commitment, I have taken a decision to run the campaign without the use of paper. Where inevitable, like on the election day, I would only use seed paper/recycled paper. I can proudly say that I have not added to any paper waste or littering during the ongoing campaign.

Dear Members,

I am Naqvee Syed Alishan (Ballot Number 16), contesting for Member Executive in the upcoming elections of DHCBA 2022.

I am practicing and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi since 1998, with DHCBA membership since 2004. I have worked extensively in the areas of litigation and arbitration, in addition to corporate advisory. My educational qualifications in addition to LL.B. (Jamia Millia Islamia, 1998) include PG Diploma in Financial Laws (2011), Diploma in Cyber Laws (1999), PG Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (1998) and Graduation in Physics Honors (1995). I am humbled by many recognitions that my work as an Advocate has received by way of many awards and appreciations over the years.

During my years of practice, I have gained insight into the unique requirements of the members of the DHCBA, as also of lawyers practicing in Delhi High Court and subordinate courts, which I intend to take up and work towards as a Member Executive. Some of these issues are adaption to technology, availability of MESH WiFi, dedicated rooms for virtual hearings in addition to the issues related to filings/defects, parking and canteen space.

For Member Executive, each voter has five votes. I request your one vote for the environment, and help me by circulating this campaign over digital medium.

Your one vote to me is a strong message. It has the power to minimize wastage of paper in future elections. Elections can be contested in an environment friendly way!
