We are delighted to share the outstanding achievements of our ADRC teams at the Smt. Sushila Devi Moot Court Competition, 2025.

Winners:
Pratishtha Barthwal, along with team members Yosh*ta Sanghal and Mitali Negi, emerged as the Winning Team, bringing immense pride to ADRC with their stellar advocacy and teamwork.

Runner-Up & Best Memorial:
We are equally pleased to announce that ADRC member Sadhanya Dhyani, with her teammates Anjali Gussain and Mishti Goyal, secured the position of Runner-Up.

We are pleased to share that the fifth lecture under the Certificate Course on Arbitration: Practice and Procedure was successfully conducted virtually by the ADR Centre, Law College Dehradun.

The session commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University; Dean, Law College Dehradun; and Director, ADR Centre.

An illuminating lecture on the topic “Cases That Have Shaped the Arbitration Landscape in India” was delivered by Mr. Gourab Banerjee, Senior Advocate.

We are pleased to share that the fourth lecture under the Certificate Course on Arbitration: Practice and Procedure was successfully conducted virtually by the ADR Centre, Law College Dehradun.

The session commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University; Dean, Law College Dehradun; and Director, ADR Centre.

The insightful lecture was delivered by Dr. Hitesh Bhatt on the topic “Uncovering the Mystique of Arbitration Labyrinth: From Conception to Application.”

We are delighted to share that the third lecture under the Certificate Course on Arbitration: Practice and Procedure was successfully conducted on 29th September 2025 in the Seminar Hall.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Uttaranchal University; Dean, Law College Dehradun; and Director, ADR Centre.

The lecture was delivered by Adv. Siddharth Sah, who explained to the students the concept of post-arbitration remedies with a focus on Section 34. The session was moderated by Garima and Vanshika, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Radhey Shyam Jha, Head of Department.

We are pleased to announce the reconstituted team of the Law College Dehradun Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre (LCD–ADRC) for the Academic Session 2025–26. The Centre functions under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Dean & Principal, Law College Dehradun and Director, ADRC, Prof. Poonam Rawat, Dy. Director, ADRC, and Prof. (Dr.) Radhey Shyam Jha, Chairman, ADRC.

For this term, Rishi Ranjan has been appointed as Convener, and Manyata Singh and Yashaswi as Co-Conveners, supported by Executive Members from B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B., and LL.B. programmes.

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the second round of the ADRC Induction Process – the Group Discussion Round – held for both first-year and second-year students.
