Under the guidance of our General Secretary Com. A. Senthil Ramesh, a Workshop on Advances and Preventive Vigilance was conducted on 19 July 2026, by Com. Ravikumar and Chennai module- I office bearers.
The programme witnessed a participation of nearly 80 officers, making it a meaningful, interactive, and highly informative learning session.
The workshop was honoured by the gracious presence of the General Manager & Disciplinary Authority, Discipline Management Hub (South), who inaugurated the programme, and the Deputy General Manager (Vigilance), LHO Chennai, who delivered an insightful keynote address.
Their valuable guidance highlighted the importance of ethical conduct, due diligence, compliance, and professional responsibility while handling advances, with a focus on protecting both the Bank's interests and the professional interests of officers.
The technical sessions conducted by our distinguished resource persons, Shri Syam Sundar Prasad, Retd. AGM, and Shri Venkateshwar Rao Athota, Retd. AGM, were highly appreciated by the participants. The sessions covered important practical aspects including credit appraisal, common lapses, asset quality, regulatory and internal compliance, and essential precautions to be taken by officers while handling credit-related responsibilities.
The workshop provided valuable insights and practical guidance that will help officers discharge their responsibilities with greater confidence, awareness, and due diligence.
