On 10 January 2025, we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Dave Vasoodaven, Managing Partner at Gulbenkian Andonian Solicitors, London at our Chennai office.

The visit facilitated a dynamic and insightful exchange of ideas between the lawyers at Ganesan and Manuraj Legal LLP and Mr. Vasoodaven. The discussions covered a broad spectrum of topics including public law, commercial law, and UK immigration law, with a particular focus on asylum and civil rights cases before the European Court of Human Rights.

We are deeply grateful to Mr. Vasoodaven for sharing his inspiring journey as a lawyer and his valuable perspectives. We look forward to building mutually beneficial collaborations.

To commemorate the 75th Constitutional day of India, O.P. Jindal Global university is set to establish India’s first Constitutional Museum - “The Constitution Academy & The Rights and Freedoms Museum”

As a part of the event, a Talk Session on the topic- “Living Document or Set in Stone: Evolution of the Constitution to keep up with the changing times” is scheduled on 23rd November where our Partner, Advocate Manuraj. S is invited as one of the Speakers!

We wish the University the best in this unique initiative and we look forward to the Talk Session.

Manuraj S writes for today’s The Hindu on how India must construct her bid to host the 2036 Olympics. He has argued that India’s bid should leverage the capacities of states like Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Odisha which have already hosted international sporting vents. Doing so would not only help facilitate broader growth but also mitigate ecological burden of a single-city hosting a major event.
