MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE

The Worthy President and the Executive Committee of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association, Chandigarh, express their sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra, Acting Chief Justice, for his kind consideration and unwavering commitment towards the welfare of the Members of the Bar and the general public by approving the construction of the protective shed at Gate No. 1 of the High Court. This public welfare initiative has been made possible through the dedicated efforts and persistent follow-up of the Worthy President and the Executive Committee.

The Bar Association also places on record its heartfelt appreciation for Sh. Amit Jhanji, Senior Advocate, Senior Standing Counsel for the U.T. Administration, whose valuable support and coordination greatly facilitated the timely ex*****on of this important project.

The newly constructed protective shed will provide much-needed shelter to Advocates, litigants, and visitors during the rainy season, thereby enhancing the convenience and comfort of all those visiting the High Court.

The Hon’ble Members of the Bar are further informed that a similar protective shed at Gate No. 4 has also been approved in principle. In addition, the construction of a permanent covered shed extending from the Kachhi Parking up to Gate No. 5 has likewise received in-principle approval, and the work is expected to commence shortly.

The Worthy President and the entire Executive Committee remain steadfast in their commitment to continuously improving the infrastructure, facilities, and overall working environment of the Punjab & Haryana High Court for the benefit of the Bar and all stakeholders.
