Meet Sona & Mona – The Two Voices Within
Every professional carries two voices inside.
I call them Sona and Mona.
They are not two people.
They are the two voices that quietly influence our decisions, confidence, and career.
🌱 Sona is the Growth Voice. She learns with a system, practises consistently, and speaks even before she feels "perfect."
🌫️ Mona is the Fear Voice. She keeps waiting, keeps consuming content, and keeps worrying about what others will think.
During my conversations with professionals from different industries, I have noticed four common communication challenges:
✅ Boardroom Freeze – "I know the answer, but I go blank."
✅ Translation Trap – "I think in my mother tongue and keep translating into English before speaking."
✅ Confidence Drop – "I lose confidence in front of my boss, seniors, team, or international clients."
✅ Identity Trap – "सबसे बड़ा रोग... क्या कहेंगे लोग।"
The interesting part?
These are rarely English problems.
More often, they are Identity Challenges.
The way we see ourselves shapes the way we communicate, and the way we communicate shapes the opportunities we receive.
That is the purpose of the Sona–Mona Transformation Series—to help professionals move from Fear to Freedom and from "क्या कहेंगे लोग" to "बस देखते रह जाएंगे!"
Now I'd love to hear from you.
Which challenge do you relate to the most?
1️⃣ Boardroom Freeze
2️⃣ Translation Trap
3️⃣ Confidence Drop
4️⃣ Identity Trap
Reply with just the number (1, 2, 3, or 4) and, if you'd like, tell me why.
I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts.
