Our Partners Harsh*t Pandey and Tanmay Pandey had a wonderful time judging the semi finals of the Louis M. Brown and Forrest S. Mosten International Client Consultation Competition (National Round) at Jagran Lakecity University today.

The level of talent showcased by young students was inspirational and this speaks to the bright future of India's legal industry.

We thank Dr. M.R.K. Prasad, Dr. Babugouda Patil, Dr. Yogendra Srivastava, Deevanshu Shrivastava and Anugrah Pratap Singh Rajawat for a well organised event and for nurturing a platform for the participants to realize their full potential.

Life is about acting on the hints that guide you towards your destiny. If you pay close attention to these signs and divine interventions, and act on your instincts, life can show you the way. I am a third generation lawyer from Rewa, India, and my journey has been one of chasing inspirations that began with materialism and have today culminated in values and ideas. I have to admit, life has been kind to me in many ways, by allowing me to study with the best in the country, work with the most successful people in the legal industry and have the unwavering support and love of my close friends and family. While all these experiences have exposed me to the best of all worlds, they have only resulted in me wanting to go back to my roots and do my part to create a better life for the community around me. As a law student, I was entranced with the extravagant lifestyle of successful lawyers. But after graduating and starting my own law firm, having gone through my own personal experiences, I realized that life is more about the pursuit of enhancing the lives of the people around you and not just about self gratification. With this ideology, I work every day as a lawyer who supports non-traditional mechanisms of resolving disputes and as a human being who can help people when he can. Because all it takes is a guy who makes up his mind to do good one day, while driving along a quiet road he had driven on countless times as a naïve young law student. Even though I am still young as a lawyer, I am focused on seeking the contribution I can make to the society and community around me. With this guiding thought, I do not measure my success by the number of cases I handle and win, but with the number of litigations I help my clients avoid, which brings about a positive impact in their lives. I aspire to focus this positive energy and dynamism to the benefit of people at large and help everyone around me get better, grow and flourish, so that I may do the same not individually, but with them. Ultimately, life is all about winning the right way and one’s character is paramount.

We had another wonderful experience at Lex Infinitum 2020 judging participants and interacting with fellow colleagues in the mediation fraternity from India and abroad.

Always a pleasure supporting and judging the NLIU INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament. It was inspiring to see the level of mediation talent showcased by students from participating universities this year and especially wonderful to see how they improve with each competition round.

A hearty congratulations to the NLIU Alternative Dispute Resolution Cell for a well organized competition and a big thank you to everyone else who helped make the event a success.
