An Advocate is not merely a representative of a litigant, but an officer of the Court, entrusted with upholding justice. When an Advocate betrays this trust by indulging in corruption or by abusing political influence to subvert due process, especially in criminal cases such conduct strikes at the very root of the justice delivery system. This danger is aggravated when public authorities or servants,who are expected to act impartially,abdicate their statutory duties and become mute spectators or willing instruments. क्या नए लेबर कोड बड़े पैमाने पर छंटनी का कारण बनेंगे?—हाँ। इन प्रावधानों के तहत 300 से कम कर्मचारियों वाले कंपनियों/उद्योगों में लाखों श्रमिकों को आसानी से सेवा से हटाया जा सकता है। वहीं 890 से 2800 कर्मचारियों वाली बड़ी कंपनियों को कई हिस्सों (तीन या दस भागों) में विभाजित किया जा सकेगा। हड़ताल करना लगभग असंभव बना दिया गया है, और किसी भी समय मजदूरों को नौकरी से हटाया जा सकता है। ये नए और अत्यंत कठोर एंटी-लेबर कानून स्पष्ट रूप से दर्शाते हैं कि सरकार श्रमिक वर्ग को मात्र श्रमशक्ति समझती है और उन्हें किसी भी प्रकार की नौकरी की सुरक्षा प्रदान नहीं करती।

Constitution Day and the Need for Universal Awareness of Rights
Constitution Day, also known as “Samvidhan Divas”, is celebrated every year on 26th November to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly adopted our Constitution, which came into effect on 26th January 1950.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, through its notification dated 19 November 2015, formally declared 26th November as Constitution Day to promote constitutional values among citizens.
Among all fundamental rights, the Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression is one of the most crucial pillars of our democracy. Equally important is the Right to Information, which empowers citizens to ask questions, demand accountability, and make informed decisions in public life.
The Present Reality
Despite RTI being one of the strongest transparency laws in the world, only around 2% of India’s 150 crore population actively uses the RTI Act. A major reason is lack of education, awareness, and understanding of how the government functions.
A democracy can function meaningfully only when its citizens are informed. Without proper information, how can voters exercise their freedom of expression or choose the correct and competent candidates in elections? Blind faith in names, slogans, or religious symbolism—whether “Ram” or “Sita”—cannot replace informed decision-making.
The Need for a National Mission
To strengthen constitutional values and empower every citizen, the Government of India should adopt a Five-Year Nationwide Awareness and Literacy Plan aimed at:
Making 100% citizens aware of their fundamental rights and duties

Educating people—especially those who studied below 10th standard—about:
The functioning of government institutions
How to seek information under the RTI Act
How democratic processes work
How to participate responsibly in public life
Promoting civic literacy, legal literacy, and constitutional values at all levels
Why This Is Essential
Without awareness, education, and access to information:
The freedom of expression becomes symbolic, not real
Elections cannot reflect truly informed choices
Citizens remain dependent instead of empowered
The government risks drifting from democracy to monarchy-like governance, where only a few have knowledge and power
A Constitution is meaningful only when every citizen understands it, uses it, and defends it.

CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES THROUGH A I ( Artificial Intelligence applications)

Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 356 – Statements conducing to public mischief.
Punishes making or publishing any statement, rumour or report, likely to cause fear or alarm among the public or disturb public tranquillity.
Punishment: Up to 3 years imprisonment or fine, or both.
Creating AI videos that terrify or misguide people falls directly under this.
Section 351 – False information with intent to cause offence against public peace
Covers knowingly spreading false or misleading information that can cause riot, mutiny, or harm to public order.
Section 354 – Defamation
If the AI video injures the reputation of a person or institution.
Section 326 – Cheating by personation using digital means
Applies when someone uses AI to impersonate another person digitally (e.g., politician, police officer, judge).
Section 111 – Criminal intimidation
When such videos threaten or instil fear in a person or group.

So also, Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) is applicable
Section 66D – Cheating by personation using computer resources
Deepfake creators impersonating others.
Punishment: Up to 3 years and ₹1 lakh fine.
Section 66E – Violation of privacy
If the AI video depicts someone’s image without consent.
Section 67 and 67A – Publishing or transmitting obscene or sexually explicit material
Deepfake po*******hy or morphed content.
Section 69A – Power to block information
The Government can block such content on social media.
IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
Platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram must remove such videos upon complaint or government notice within a fixed time.
How to take Action Steps.
Complaint / FIR to Cyber Police Station under:
Sections 356, 351, 354 BNSS.
Sections 66D, 66E, 67 IT Act.
Submit Electronic Evidence:
Link, screenshot, metadata, hash value.
Request preservation of server logs.
Report to platform (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) with a copy of the police complaint under Rule 3(2)(b) of IT Rules 2021.
Writ Petition / PIL
For large-scale deepfake menace, a public interest litigation can be filed seeking:
Mandatory labelling of AI-generated videos,

Supreme Court of India repeatedly directed that all the Police Stations mandatorily install audio video CC TV CAMERAS at each and every corner of Police Stations !
Key Requirements for Police Station CCTV Systems:
Mandatory Installation: Cameras must be installed in every police station across the nation.
Comprehensive Coverage: Cameras are required in all important locations, such as:
All entry and exit points
Main gate
Lock-ups
Corridors
Lobby and reception areas
Areas outside lock-up rooms
Interrogation rooms
Functional Features: The cameras must be equipped with:
Night vision capability
Audio recording alongside video footage
Data Storage: Recordings must be stored for a minimum of one year.
Data Responsibility: The Station House Officer (SHO) of each police station is accountable for maintaining the functioning of these cameras and for backing up the data. Why the delay? Nothing but corruption.

Subject: Preventive Measures Against Child Sexual Abuse (POCSO Act, 2012)
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The safety and well-being of children is the foremost responsibility of every parent, educational institution, and society at large. Considering increasing incidents of child sexual abuse, and keeping in view the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO), all parents are advised to exercise utmost caution while selecting schools, kindergartens, day-care centres, and nurseries for their children.
1. Risk of Unsafe Institutions
It has been observed that institutions managed by persons of doubtful integrity, low-profile individuals with no proper accountability, or those facing criminal charges, often fail to ensure a safe environment for children. In such places, safety protocols are either neglected or deliberately ignored.
2. Mandatory Safety Standards
Every educational institution is legally and morally bound to: The parents should ask for the following safety measures.
Conduct police verification of all teaching and non-teaching staff.
Establish a Child Protection Committee as per the guidelines of the National/State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
Install CCTV cameras in classrooms, corridors, and play areas.
Conduct awareness sessions on child safety and good touch/bad touch.
Comply with the mandatory reporting obligation under the POCSO Act.
3. Advisory to Parents
Parents are strongly advised to:
Avoid admitting children in institutions managed by persons with criminal antecedents, dishonesty, or questionable reputation.
Seek information regarding the management’s background, registration, and compliance with child protection laws.
Ensure that the school has a transparent grievance redressal mechanism for parents and students.
Prefer schools with a proven record of integrity, accountability, and safety practices. Often concerned authorities commit negligence in performing their respective duities.
4. Legal Consequences
In case of any incident of abuse, not only the perpetrator but also the management, trustees, and head of the institution can be held criminally liable for negligence and failure to report, as per Sections 19, 21 and related provisions of the POCSO Act, 2012.
Conclusion
As a preventive step, parents must make informed decisions while choosing an educational institution. Admission of children in schools or nurseries managed by persons of doubtful character exposes them to unnecessary risks and legal complications. A reputed, law-abiding, and transparent institution is always the safer choice for your child’s education and overall well-being.
