The Offline Excel utility for filing half-yearly Service Tax return (ST 3) for the period 1st October, 2012 to 31st March, 2013 is now available in ACES. The same can be downloaded from http://acesdownload.nic.in/. It can also be accessed from 'DOWNLOADS' section of ACES website, www.aces.gov.in. The online version of the same will be made available shortly and the exact date will be intimated on ACES website. All assessees are advised to carefully read the 'Instructions' given in a separate sheet in the ST-3 offline excel utility before filling up the details.

Assessees can file their Central Excise and Service Tax Returns using following offline Excel Utilities/XML Schema by downloading the same from this page.

CBEC extends the last date of e-filing of Service Tax Return (ST 3) for the period October, 2012 to March, 2013 from 25th April to 31st August, 2013. The return utility for this period is expected to be made available in ACES in July, 2013; the exact date of the availability will be announced later.

Service Tax Returns (ST 3) for the period July -Sept, 2012,e-filed in ACES, can now be viewed by the Assesses under 'View Original ST3' and 'View ST3' options under the RET module of ACES with a facility to revise it, if required. The Revised return can be filed by the assessee within 90 days from the date of filing of the Original Return.
