ביום 18.8.2026 פורסם צו הרחבה חדש שעדכן את תעריף יום הבראה במגזר הפרטי, כך שמחיר יום הבראה לשנת 2026 עומד על 451.50 ש"ח.
הצו חל, ככלל, על מרבית העובדים והמעסיקים בישראל, למעט חריגים מסוימים.
בהתאם לעמדת משרד העבודה, ככל שדמי הבראה שולמו לפי תעריף קודם (בטרם פורסם עדכון התעריף), יש להשלים לעובדים.ות את ההפרש. מכאן שמעסיקים נדרשים לבחון האם הצו חל עליהם, באיזה תעריף שולמו דמי ההבראה לשנת 2026 (ככל שולמו), והאם יש צורך בביצוע השלמות.

On August 18, 2026, a new extension order was published updating the recuperation pay daily rate in the private sector, such that the rate for a recuperation day for 2026 is NIS 451.50.
As a general rule, the order applies to most employees and employers in Israel, subject to certain exceptions.
According to the position of the Ministry of Labor, where recuperation pay was paid based on the previous rate (before the updated rate was published), employees should be paid the difference. Accordingly, employers are required to examine whether the order applies to them, at what rate recuperation pay for 2026 was paid (if paid), and whether any supplemental payment is required.
