Why do so many Forbes billionaires hold Israeli passports?

Aliyah isn’t always loud. For many, it’s a quiet, deeply personal journey, shared only with family and closest friends. Some of our clients chose to stay anonymous, keeping their story just for themselves. And we respect that.

Sometimes, the most meaningful steps in life don’t need an audience.

Wondering what the consul focuses on during your interview? Here are the 3 key document categories they scrutinize most closely:

📜The foundation — documents proving Jewish ancestry: you'll need birth, marriage or death certificates of your parents, grandparents or great-grandparents, where their Jewish nationality is clearly stated.

📄The applicant's personal documents: your original passport, valid for at least 6 more months, and your own birth certificate.

📃Critical document that the consul primarily checks — the repatriation application form: proof of Jewish lineage and the family connection between you and your Jewish ancestor, and consistency between the information in the form and the facts you state during the interview.

Crucial note: the application must be filled out for the entire family. Incorrect information can lead to a refusal❗️

Additional grounds for refusal can include circumstances that make an applicant ineligible, such as conversion to another religion or a criminal background that is deemed a threat to public welfare.

Planning your Aliyah? Let WRAI's experts guide you through document preparation to ensure a successful journey!
