Upgraded to premium economy in ELAL flight.
Landed in USA after 11 hours.
Waited 6 hours for next flight.
Used it for some work on the computer,
Starbucks goodies,
Stretching and meditation.
Then...another boarding.
Got 2 seats in a small airplane to Ottawa.
Good to be in North America again, to continue fulfilling the mission.
KOL TUV and see you the soonest.

✴️ Open Seminar, instructors update and touring with a cute chihuahua. CZ, May 2026.
✳️ In the 1st open seminar we covered dealing with knife attacks, including those loaded with challenges as grabs, pulling, ground, sitting, and more; ✳️ VIP and 3rd Party Protection was the 2nd open seminar, solving from easy to very challenging problems.

✴️ With the instructors we started with a workshop/lecture/discussion about: why people join KM & KMG, stay, and leave the gym.
Then we trained in quite a few subjects.

Tnx to everyone participating AND especially to Alexandra and Jan Kužel for the wonderful hosting.

See you the soonest

The key to a successful knife defense lies in balancing your attention between the grab and the blade. By utilizing a "bow and arrow" motion and leading with the energy of the attacker's push, you can neutralize the threat.

Core Defensive Principles:

Early recognition: Your mind should already have a "picture" of the threat from your training, allowing for an immediate response.

The Bow and Arrow motion: Move the attacker's grabbing hand – the earlier the better.

Coordinated body motion: Move with the motion of the push, leading and following the energy while simultaneously entering your block.

The 360 foundation: Every variation is built on the basic 360 defense, a diagonal block and attack that puts your shoulder and weight into the center.

Dual mission: Executing a strong block and delivering a powerful counter-attack.

Don't just learn a technique; understand the components and principles that make it work so you can adapt to any scenario.

This scenario demands awareness, timing, and commitment. When you’ve managed to close the distance and the weapon is directed elsewhere, you may have a narrow window to act.

Key Technical Principles:

The Grip
Establish control with two “C-grips”-one thumb up, one thumb down - to secure and dominate the weapon.

The Movement
Drive in decisively. Move straight toward the attacker while clearing the line of fire (“channel of attack”) to reduce risk to yourself and others.

The Takeaway
Redirect and strip the weapon while delivering an immediate counterattack to break the attacker’s ability to respond.

The Resolution
From here, the outcome depends on the situation - disengage, create distance, or use the weapon if necessary.

This is not just a technique - it’s a decision under pressure. Control, surprise, and aggression must come together in a split second.

Warning - this is for fighters only!

This is a physical response as a first approach to de-escalation - showing an aggressor you can cause harm while choosing restraint.

It is a fighting tactic for people who understand control, not escalation. The purpose is not aggression but to demonstrate capability under real threat with the goal of deterrence and immediate disengagement.

The process:
1. Break the corners - target elbows, fists, fingers, and knees to create immediate damage.
2. Establish dominance - project a presence that makes the aggressor think twice.
3. Shift - transition from aggressive to calm, relaxed, and even polite.
4. Create space and leave.
Same goal: end the situation safely.

This and a lot more will be covered in our upcoming PGE Camps in Sardinia. Link is in our bio.

No choosing. No setup.
Whatever’s in your hand - that’s your tool.
Same moves and mindset.
React. Defend. Counterattack. Finish.
Close your tripod and move on.
