As part of the Stef Wertheimer Lecture Series on the Yekkes, we were delighted to welcome Dr. Esther Gradei (TU Berlin). Her fascinating lecture on Autobiographical Writing and Musical “Self-Narration“ in German-Jewish Exile: The Case of Fritz Wolf (1908–2006) inspired a lively discussion among participants. We thank Dr. Gradei for an engaging and enriching evening

The Yekkes archive was delighted and excited to take part in the filming of the end-of-year activities video of the Association of Israelis of Central European Origin.

As an archive dedicated to preserving memories, it was especially meaningful to become part of a new one. We're usually behind the scenes, caring for photographs, letters, and stories from the past-so stepping in front of the camera was a refreshing change!

A big thank you to everyone involved. We look forward to seeing the final result and to continuing to preserve the history and heritage of our community for generations to come.
