🇮🇪 Another fantastic night for Irish-bred Oakwood Ar Dan! 🇮🇪

Oakwood Ar Dan finished 3rd last night in the $705,000 Canadian Pacing Derby, continuing an incredible record in this Grade 1 event.

It was the third time he has qualified for the Canadian Pacing Derby — and remarkably, the third time he has finished 3rd in the final! 🥉

His latest placing brought his career earnings to $504,000 USD, which I believe makes him the highest-earning Irish-bred horse ever. 🇮🇪💰

He also paced a 1:47.2, his fastest ever time in this race, and remarkably, it was the 34th time he has paced in sub-1:50 in the last three years since arriving stateside. ⚡️

What a horse — and what an outstanding training performance by Robert Cleary Racing. 👏

At seven years old, the future still looks incredibly bright for this talented son of Sweet Lou out of Trend Setter (Grinfromeartoear).
