CV Asia (before changed to PT. Asia Kaolinraya) was originally established in 1981 with the establishment certificate No. 255 before the notary Suselo Ridwan. In line with the development of the company, changes of management have occurred several times, including the shareholders, with the deed certificate, among others: (a) Certificate No.12 dated 28 May 1997 by notary Maman Suhirman Martamihardja, (b)Certificate No.24 dated 12 June 2004 by notary Linawati Hasan, and the last (c)Certificate No.129 dated February 27, 2006 by Hilda notary Sari Gunawan. On February 27, 2006, the company also improved the status of a Limited Company by the same notary, Hilda Sari Gunawan, with certificate No. 130. CV Asia at the beginning, operated in various areas of general trade, started to focus its operations on the mining of Kaolin(China Clay) in 1998, by obtaining initially SIPD (mining concession granted by local government) of 43.24 Ha; while for the second SIPD for an area of 94.6 Ha obtained in 2002. Both the location of mining is located on the island of Belitung, precisely on Badau Road Km. 12 Buluh Tumbang, Tanjung Pandan, Indonesia. This SIPD has been extended in 2007 and expanded so that the total area covers up to about 200 Ha. New Management Along with the changed status of the company from CV to a Limited Company, as a consequence, there was also a fundamental change in the level of corporate leadership / management, with the inclusion of professionals in the company. Thus, the company that was run in a traditional way/family oriented, is now switched to the values that uphold professionalism. Increased in legal status and changes in management is merely done to improve the performance of the company in meeting the needs of our customers, both in terms of quality, accuracy and availability of goods delivery, aiming for total customer satisfaction. Mining area Survey done by the Mining Authority showed that the Kaolin(China Clay) available in the area is quite abundant particularly after being expanded to 200Ha, and the quality of Kaolin(China Clay) is relatively better when compared with that derived from Kaolin(China Clay) mining in other areas outside the island of Belitung, Indonesia. With a conservative calculation, and based on the level of production at this time, mining this area is enough to sustain our productions for more than 50 years.
