Bali just launched a visa specifically for content creators. And almost nobody is talking about it.
If you do sponsored content, brand collaborations, or commercial photo and video work in Bali, read this.
The C5A Content Creator Visa is now available. Here are the key facts:
π¬ Designed for foreign creators and influencers
π
60 days initial stay, plus two 60-day extensions (up to 180 days total)
β
Covers sponsored posts, commercial shoots, influencer partnerships
π― The legal alternative to using a tourist visa for content work
Why this matters now: Since April 2026, Bali's Dharma Dewata immigration task force is actively patrolling Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak, Kerobokan, and Uluwatu. They monitor social media too. 62 foreigners were detained in the first three weeks. Using the wrong visa can mean deportation and an entry ban up to 10 years.
Your Visa on Arrival does not cover your Instagram. Any activity with economic value counts as work under Indonesian law. Even a free villa stay in exchange for a post.
Already earning $60,000+ per year from remote work? That is the E33G Remote Worker Visa. Different category, different requirements. We handle both.
Not sure which visa you need? Send us a message with your situation. We will tell you straight. No charge, no pressure.
