Dependent permits for your spouse and children were added in December 2025. This is not a workaround. It is a permit that exists specifically because Indonesia knows remote workers are here.

One line you cannot cross: your income has to come from outside Indonesia. One local client changes your entire legal position, even with a valid E33G in hand.
