Squeezed between the back-to-back London meetings of GALA Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance and International Trademark Association (INTA), to which VUKMIR + ASSOCIATES, LLC is a member, Mladen Vukmir found time to join the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice (Oxford University Press) 20th year’s celebration, hosted by Simmons & Simmons. An absolute IP star-studded event featured two panels, one moderated by Eleonora Rosati and the other by Stefano Barazza, plus a speech by Lord Justice Sir Richard Arnold on the occasion of the anniversary. Lord Justice Arnold kindly mentioned in passing Mladen’s editorial contribution in Issue 3 of the 2026 (https://doi.org/10.1093/jiplp/jpaf085).

The panelists included Darren Meale, Phoebe Li, Lauri Rechardt, Edward Cronan, Trevor Cook, Carina Gommers, President of ECTA (official), Sophie Lawrance, Marius Schneider, and David Stone, all with the support of ’s Managing Director, Sarah Harris. The audience was packed with other IP luminari, such as Dr. Anke Nordemann-Schiffel, the President of GRUR - Deutsche Vereinigung für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht e.V. and many others. Fruitful discussions ensued during the drinks and canapés that followed the working part.
