📈 2024 წლის 26 აპრილიდან, ლიზა ყიფიანი სერთიფიცირებული პერსონალურ მონაცემთა დაცვის ოფიცრია, მას შემდეგ რაც დაასრულა პერსონალურ მონაცემთა დაცვის სამსახური • Personal Data Protection Service მიერ შეთავაზებული “პერსონალური ნომაცემების დაცვის ოფიცრის კურსი“.

2024 წლის 1-ლი ივნისიდან ძალაში შევიდა ახალი კანონი პერსონალური მონაცემების დაცვის შესახებ. აუცილებელია, კომპანიები, რომლებიც ამუშავებენ პერსონალურ მონაცემებს, გაეცნონ ძირითად ცვლილებებს იმისთვის, რომ მათი შიდა პოლიტიკა შეესაბამებოდეს ახალი კანონის მოთხოვნებს.

📈 Our associate, Liza Kipiani, has recently become a certified Personal Data Protection Officer after completing the course offered by the Personal Data Protection Office.

As of June 1, 2024, the new Law on Personal Data Protection is in effect. Entities processing personal data should be aware of the key provisions to ensure compliance with the new law.

Giorgi Kikiani has joined Montpellier Sentinel Legal as a Litigation Associate Partner and will be leading the dispute resolution practice of the firm.

Holding an LLB degree in law from თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტი • Tbilisi State University, Giorgi is currently pursuing an LL.M degree in Business and Tax Law from the თავისუფალი უნივერსიტეტი - Free University.

Specializing in litigation and arbitration, Giorgi has been a prominent representative for clients in both courts and arbitration institutions. Furthermore, his extensive experience includes providing counsel to clients across diverse sectors, notably in regulated industries such as construction, telecommunications, to***co, and energy.

Prior to joining Montpellier Sentinel Legal, Giorgi served as a Senior Associate at one of Georgia's leading law firms, where he was recognized as a key lawyer in the fields of Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and Construction by Legal 500's 2024 ranking. He also held positions as an Associate and Head of Litigation Practice at two other major law firms in Georgia.

Mariam Khubukelashvili is currently a Paralegal at Montpellier Sentinel Legal, where she began her journey as an intern a year ago.

She is in the process of completing her BA in Law from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). Her academic journey also includes a period as an exchange student at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (Oficial), Spain, in the Faculty of Law and Economics.

Recognized for her expertise in Tech Law, Mariam was chosen to participate in the Winter Law School organized by the The European Law Students' Association at ULB - Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, earlier this year and summer law school at European Studies - University of Vienna, Germany.

Her professional focus encompasses a variety of industries and practice areas, including Information Technology (specifically EduTech and IT Consulting), as well as Commercial and Corporate Law.

Liza Kipiani joined Montpellier Sentinel Legal as a Junior Associate, in October 2023, bringing her extensive legal knowledge and expertise to the team.

Since joining the firm, Liza has been involved in over 50 transactions, drafting complex agreements, comprehensive legal memoranda, and opinions related to corporate, contractual, and investment regulations.

Her prior experience includes roles at MG Law and Conse Law Firms.

Liza holds an LL.B. from the თავისუფალი უნივერსიტეტი - Free University and is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Business Law at the same institution.

She has successfully passed the general specialization exam conducted by the Bar Association.

კანონის ამოქმედებამდე, მნიშვნელოვანია დამუშავებისთვის პასუხისმგებელი ორგანიზაციები ინფორმირებულნი იყვნენ ახალი კანონის ცვლილებებზე, ახალ კანონთან შესაბამისობის უზრუნველყოფის მიზნით.
