New builds - in the last five years there have been 6,680 new homes built across Wokingham and surrounds, an average of 1,336 per year.
There are 3,069 homes under construction in Wokingham and surrounds in 21 developments, an average of 146.1 homes per development.
The future planning pipeline for Wokingham and surrounds, excluding developments under construction, includes 9,875 homes in 66 developments, representing 7.4 years of supply.

• While 53% of homes find buyers within five weeks and 76% within three months, the odds of selling after that sink to a chilling 14.5%.
• Yet for the 90,000 homes withdrawn and later resurrected after a three-month rest, 42% went on to sell – almost triple the success rate of those left to haunt the listings. Current map of properties for sale in Wokingham and surrounds. A lot of property on the market at the moment as we've not had the usual Autumn bump in activity, as confirmed by Rightmove's house price index this week. However sales are still strong for correctly priced properties. A lot of buyers and sellers are waiting to see what the budget brings in November which is likely bringing a quieter market than usual.
