𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 - Martyn from our regulatory team recently took part in an interview to help raise awareness of organ donation, sharing his personal story alongside other football fans. The campaign links to the World Cup, encouraging supporters to use just two minutes between matches to register their organ donation decision.

The impact is clear:
▶️ 90% of families support donation when a decision is recorded
▶️ This drops to 50% when no decision is known

By registering, you make your wishes clear and could help save lives.

You can watch Martyn’s interview on Granada Reports from 6pm today, please tune in if you can.

Court of Protection solicitor Megan Taylor breaks down the decision in Re Attorney General for Northern Ireland [2026] UKSC 16, including the overturning of Cheshire West and what a new “multifactorial” approach means in practice.

With serious concerns already raised about safeguarding and access to protections, this is essential reading for anyone working with vulnerable adults: https://ow.ly/AjRs50Z7UHv

Volunteers’ Week is a chance to recognise the positive impact our people make beyond their day‑to‑day roles. Today we’re highlighting family solicitor Amy Jones, who volunteers with Funding Futures - supporting recruitment, mentoring programme cohorts and helping women develop employability skills such as CV writing.

Funding Futures works with vulnerable and often disadvantaged women and girls, helping them build sustainable, independent futures through education, wellbeing support and employability training.

At Stephensons, we’re proud to support colleagues like Amy to volunteer alongside their professional roles, especially where their skills and experience can make a meaningful difference in our wider community.
